It always strikes me as odd how the prices of otherwise extremely expensive things drop as much low. If a company can afford to give such huge discounts on their items and sell them for half their usual price, it shows how the item was not worthy of the former expensive price in the first place, and they know it too. How can the value of one of their “exclusive” products decrease so easily. If it were truly what they claimed it to be and the price was indeed justifiable, they wouldn’t cut the cost by two-thirds, even if to attract customers and increase their sales! My my oh how capitalism works!

WHY is it that things meant for instant use are somehow made in the most impractical way possible?
Taking self defense tools for example, pepper sprays are extremely expensive and many public places don’t allow people to carry them. I get the part of prohibition in certain places but considering it is a tool meant for safety, it should be allowed to be carried and also not cost a daily wage worker’s entire salary.
Another frustrating search I have every time scrounging for self defense weapons is when pocket knives aren’t sold as pocket knives, at least in the region I live in. Good quality pocket knives aren’t sold anywhere! The ones available in stores are tiny and weak metal pieces attached to an even weaker plastic handle. This shit will break in my pocket itself how tf am I supposed to use it? The ones available online are-*sigh* who the fuck designed those!??? A pocket knife should be exactly what it is called, a usable knife that is safe and easy to carry in a pocket. One hand kits or as they are called- “swiss army knives” are different from pocket knives! I do not want a nail cutter, a hammer, a cork screw, a wrench, and 12 other things to carry in my pocket for a small blade! My pants will probably drop themselves if I run with this heavy rock in my pocket.
And then we come to these bullshits! 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ WHO THE ABSOLUTE FUCK MADE THESE? I really want to ask, in case of an emergency will you look for an immediate solution or tell the source of threat to wait while you take this out, unscrew the cap, then screw the blade side back on the handle before saying you’re ready?? What is the fucking purpose of making this?
Manufacturers, it is a humble request to please stop making these and advertising them as self defense tools. These things may seem applaudable in theory, but are useless in practical life. So either mark them properly or stop supplying them because frankly, they are useless if you made them for the purpose of providing protection.

What’s so hard in understanding that?
I have noticed this way too much to not speak about it. Women are scared to call out any man intruding in places reserved for women, like women coaches in metros.
Men will travel without a second thought as to why they are the only male in a coach accommodating at least 50 people. Innocent mistakes happen, that’s fine. However, many times they won’t leave even when asked to. When women call them out, they argue back. Such men leave only when given the warning of an arrest or a fine, or when the security drags them. Why is it so hard for men to understand that if they are not allowed somewhere, it simply means that they can’t enter that premise! A place meant to make us feel secure becomes unsafe. I have witnessed many elderly males seating their wives in the women’s coach and hurrying to the normal coach because they understand that they are not meant to be there when the announcements play. So it’s not something that can’t be comprehended by normal people.
And the worst part is the majority of women being scared to point out a man in the wrong while knowing that she is right and has the support of numerous ladies with her. Because what if that man starts arguing? We know the law protects us, we know we have the right, but how do we fight? How do we speak to get those rights in such situations? And why tf is it that most of these men are well over 30, many times in their 40-50s? We were never taught what to do next. And honestly, who would have taught us? The elder ladies have gone, and still go through the same thing. It’s a sad world indeed.

When discussing political and social issues with people, more than often I learn new cases, happenings, and facts about the topic. Then I also discover that the people stating these facts did not research properly and are speaking with information they got from hear-say. They proceed to make lengthy arguments and stating conclusions based on I can never understand what. That’s the part that pissed me off, especially when the person in question is an influential entity. People speak random rubbish without knowing what they are saying and the spread of misinformation like this makes people believe that so called opinion. That opinion becomes a (baseless) fact and everyone’s thinking is altered.
So guys, just think before you speak. One person at a time, one step at a time.

To all the writers with pen names who also write as part of corporate jobs, do your publish your articles under your original name that’s on your resume or your pen name? Do other parties agree to draw up contracts under your pen name? Should you mention your pen name in your resume?

Okay to all the writers, do y’all ever wonder how you wrote a certain masterpiece in the past when you read it in the present!? I think I have talked about this before, but no matter how hard I try, I can never seem to find the answer to the absolute genius striking when writing. Be it pieces from many years back to a couple of months, I am always surprised how I wrote what I wrote. I opened a file in which I write all the random quotes, ideas, and prompts and scanned through them to find something to work on. And goddamn am I surprised at a couple of prompts I have written in such detail and precision! And the one liner quotes? Oh my god! Read this for example, “I am surviving through this hell of a ride to get the pass of living at the end.” Love this! This quote hit me so hard I went into a spiral how the fuck I forgot it in the first place. Does anyone have any answers on this phenomenon because how the fuck do you write such interesting shit and not remember your genius!?

Often colors are associated with the mental state a person is in. Bright colors are associated with happiness and excitement while dull colors are thought to be depressing at times. I don’t really have much of a preference of colors in this manner. I like all colors. Every shade is different and pretty. Ik it sounds philosophical and boring but I really am talking about colors right now, no metaphors. Colors are so varied. It has always amazed me how some colors go well together while some don’t. Maybe all the colors match well together, we just like the familiar combinations more. I color coordinate a lot of things, though I don’t have any meaning behind what color I choose. Some people choose a certain color for their furniture because they feel it is auspicious or maybe because it holds a certain memory. Some color code their wardrobe to give a certain sort of vibe. I don’t do so. I just pick whatever the fuck I like. Is this another part of losing feelings or is it normal and happens with others too?

Okay so I came across this term called “boyfriend air” online and apparently it is used when people look worse than they did before, when spending time with their boyfriends/partners and it is because of “boyfriend air.” Like their makeup wears off or hairstyle gets dismantled or their something happens to their skin and the reason is unexplainable because it only happens around their boyfriends so it must be the air around the boyfriend.

I am facing trouble finding logic in here because how do you find logic in this shit? People claim they notice flaws in their appearance and feel ugly and dirty after spending time with their boyfriends. I have a lot of questions and I am not ready for the arguments but I am also curious. So I googled.
The only theory that I could understand a bit was that the boyfriend has bad hygiene and it affects the other person. This makes sense when the couple is living together or the partner is at the said boyfriend’s place a lot. Now cue my questions, and I am sorry if it may offend anyone, I am struggling to make sense of shit in here.
If the cause was the boyfriend not keeping his place clean, then why are the same symptoms experienced in other settings?
If the boyfriend has such terrible hygiene that it affects you after spending only a few hours with him, why not let your guy know?
What if makeup products’ quality is degraded and it is normal for them to wear off? Who started this trend of blaming people for cheap quality makeup?
What if you are in a relationship where you feel conscious of your appearance so you notice things you didn’t care for before?
I am so fucking confused right now. Why?
