Sometimes I really wonder what people think when they try to show-off authority given to them by themselves. What is it in people that makes them think they are important enough to be obeyed to? I see some folks giving orders like they can change everything at the 11th hour and have no sense of understanding for anyone else involved. They want things to be perfect, but don’t want to work for it before, and then try to make everyone else feel bad for not being prepared enough. This is quite irritating honestly. I mean, what are you going to do with angled pictures of the final project at midnight before the submission? Re-do it? Just sleep man. I get some people can get tensed and want to know things in detail to ease their mind, but they should be prepared beforehand to not become the reason of chaos for someone else.
For example, if I know I can’t work much later, I give it my all beforehand, so that if I am somewhat unavailable later, others aren’t pressured because of me. I see many other people who do the same. There are also those who, if not prepared, don’t create panic for others. They admit they should have done it before and may ask for slight help, but stay humble and don’t cause problems for others. Sometimes people get genuinely stuck, it doesn’t happen all the time though. And honestly, while no one wants any laid back team player, the latter kind of people are always preferred more than the former, because no one wants to be disturbed all the time, especially by people who are irresponsible.
