Fruit Salad Trees

Grow your own salad!

I don’t kids would now be able to compare themselves with trees and say “A tree grows only one fruit why should I master all subjects?” Because there are tress that grow more than 3 fruits at a time.

These are called “Fruit Salad Trees.”

Different trees were once cross bred to create this magical masterpiece. but because every fruit has different nutrient content, there are different types of fruit salad trees as well. So you can decide if you want oranges or pears not only on your plate, but also in your backyard.

There are 4 types of salads you can plant!

Citrus: bears oranges, mandarins, tangelos, grapefruit, lemons, limes, and pomelos Multi apple: different types of apples
Multi nashi: various Asian pear varieties
Stone fruit: peaches, plums, nectarine, apricots, and peachcots (peach + apricot)

You can buy seeds to these plants and plant them like any other. They start from around 100$ and can go as high as you want. These trees require adequate sunlight and wind so tropical areas are found to be the best growing conditions.

So go planting!

Everone’s a farmer

Would you like to live in this pre-civilisation period?

What if every person in the world was a farmer!? Everyone would be growing their own food, meaning no food scarcity. But less variety. Accomodating everyone with land would of course reduce the variety. The whole world will be living in the primitive era with no major technology, because that would mean more jobs, and everyone’s life would be surrounded by raw material, patience, skin-tan, and simplicity. And the interesting thing is that at some point in ancient history, this was exactly how people lived.

Growing food

Revolution!

What if we could grown our food? Not the raw ingeredients like tomator, wheat, etc. but the food. Like if you plant wheat and garlic then you get garlic bread. Put wheat and an egg in a hole in your backyard and you get french toast.

Mass production of delicious food? Yes

Will it be produced on time? No

But the idea is still nice!
